Back on me old petrol prob I'm afraid. I recently replaced the fuel pipe at the base of the tank (to the fuel pump.
Job done. The car's now smelling of petrol again and it's damp around the pipe. Now this dampness and smell has reoccurred a few times and its ALWAYS when the tank is nearly empty. The pipe area is always dry when I refuel. Any ideas, is is air pressure pushing out a mist, have I done something to the breather thingy behind the tank, am I halucinating with the joy of TVR motoring. Tanks coming out again tonight.
