Does anybody have a Geodysey speed gun locator fitted to a Chimaera?

How good are they? Is there anything better in the marketplace at the moment?

my next door neighbour had a geodysy, had nothing but problems and sent it back. He has borrowed my road angel and has said it picked up cameras that the geo missed!

I've had a geodosey in mine since they came out, and it was the only GPS unit available, and it's been fine, if I was buying now though I'd look at the more recent units unless the geodosey was a bargin
Have a search in the speeding and plod forum for more info

RoadAngel also fits nicely on top of the steering column in a Chimaera!

I have a geodosy in my Chim but have not fixed it in as there isnt really anyware to put it as the dash is too curved. I have not come across any cameras that are not in the database. If i had i would have been claiming my £50 pretty quickly!

What you need for dash mounting is an ultra gripper. It is a mat that sits on the dash and it grips the detector without velcro etc. Made by radar express networx.
I have been using the geodyssey for ages with no problems. Even better is the origin blue i, as well as picking up all stationary camers it tells you youir exact speed and direction of travel, so useful as a direction aid.
