Folks
Sadly After owning my lovely Paris blue chimera, living in london ULEZ coming in October is now forcing my hand.
So I’m thinking of selling her, it’s a 96, 1 owner me, 27,000 miles.
What do you think is a sensible price , 12 months MOT, never raced, tidy car with a few scruffs from neighbours who can’t park ;-) straight.

That’s a shame. Especially as you have had the car from new 25 years ago and averaged 1k miles a year.Sadly After owning my lovely Paris blue chimera, living in london ULEZ coming in October is now forcing my hand.

One option would be to just pay the ULEZ charge on the days you decided to use it?

Just as a warning because your one looks clean, be careful over bumps on full lock. Mine hadn't rubbed anywhere in the past 5 years since I'd changed the coil overs and lowered it but I managed to rip a big chunk out of the arch doing a u-turn in a layby last month because I didn't see a pothole
What a nightmare. When your wheels are straight how many fingers can you get in between arch and tyre and do you use wheel spacers at all? I have standard ride height but slightly larger tyres than standard which reduces my gap from 3 fingers (standard) down to two and I use 5mm spacers.
That’s expensive
Yeah I am taking the pee a lot with my wheel choice and ride hight, they're spaced out and probably only a couple fingers gap at most. I've always driven it knowing that full lock is an issue and occasionally it would rub when turning in gravel car parks and the like but this time I had a moment of madness and was doing a u-turn on a country lane using a bit of a gravel lay-by, totally self inflicted

Lovely, what kind of wheels are those? And what size(s)?
17’s all round buddy. Luckily the lads in the unit next door to me from the garage ordered them in but customer never returned for them. So as I’ve got a signage business, we just did a bit of a deal for the next lot of banners/embroidered workwear, so only had to get the tyres. I made the centre caps myself whilst the lads were on dinner break

Anyone have a set of wheels fitted with a deeper dish on the rear compared to the front?
Mine are slightly deeper at the rear, although it's hard to see in this photo. The wheels are Image BRS 7.5x15 and 8x16. The wheels are built to order, so you can make the offsets whatever you want. I could have had a deeper more pronounced dish by playing with the offset and going for a larger diameter. I'm happy with the way that they look though.Unlike others on here, I personally don't think the car suits larger diameter wheels. To me, it has very 60's lines, and suits tyres with a larger aspect ratio and smaller rims rather than the other way round. Yes, you are limited by the choice of rubber, but I'm currently using Toyo TR1s (note, not the T1Rs) and I think they are OK for normal road use. I don't do trackdays, and I don't cane the car in the wet either.
