Bad noise at high revs: any thoughts?

APMAUTO, As a non-mechanical sort of a bloke, I am bound to be a bit concerned when my pride and joy starts making funny noises. The owner's manual (98 4L) says 6250 is max revs, and 5500 is well below that. Do you think I Should go for the replacements now just for piece of mind? Does anyone know how much I can expect to pay for a new set of springs fitted?

being a 98 car it has the serpentine engine which has a better oil pump system also 4l are usually the most reliable as they have the least amount of mods done, as for costs your into a top end strip down ie heads off not very cheap to say the least!ill happily give you my opinion or confirm what you know already im not far from adrian blyths showroom in grayshott,contact me if it might help.
