Anyone have any comments on Peart Insurance ie. Service, as they've quoted me a fantastic price for my Chimeara, despite having an slight SP30...

Don't know what your quote was, but compare it to direct line.

I was with Peart for a couple of years and they were ok - maybe suffer from a large telesales team.

I swapped to Sunninghill (01276 474844) as they include track day insurance. Their service is excellent - normally TVR stuff is dealt with by one guy - Malcolm. Just call him up to notify a track day or driver change and it's as good as done. Good price too. BTW I have no connections with Sunninghill!

I'm with Peart, they're very good. Gave me the best quote last time round, but that tends to change every time for some reason.

No track day cover, but the restrictions aren't very restrictive, and only restricts against racing and timed events, not sure I want to try it though....

Eh? Surely you are covered for track days then as they are "non competetive, untimed" events?

I'm with Direct Line and they are superb, £300 cheaper than alot of the "performance" insurers even without the restrictions, not bad for a main stream insurer.

So is pearl any cheaper? Always on the look out for a saving!

Oooops....Sorry, had forgotten about this topic....

Well just for the record, Peart cost me £898, fully comp and protected NCD, plus I think I got track insurance too, but the excess goes up from £350 to £1000, all in all not bad I thought, considering the SP30 and 21 day ban...

Recently got cover through Sunninghill, (contact was Malcolm as mentioned by someone else), for £599, fully comp, on a 4L Chimaera, which included track day cover, uninsured loss protection and 12 months RAC cover, including homestart and relay.

The first place I contacted wanted £2500
