What a shame the meet wasn't last night!!
I have been praying to the sun gods since I woke up...maybe it will clear? Is it supposed to be like this all day??

'Ruby' was rather looking forward to meeting some of her siblings...

Sorry, my fault - I washed and polished my Griff in anticipation of a good blast, however it was not to be.

I think we should reconsider later - after all it might cheer up.....

Until the weather gets better........

I don't have any problem with water, I suppose it could be just as much fun limping along in convoy rather than blasting along...

it does not matter to me, it would be just nice to meet up with some other owners for a change.

Why don't we just meet up at the proposed end point and compare stories instead?

No probs I won't be around at home (Woking M3 J3) until about 6:30 anyway.

I'm happy to meet up anywhere within reasonable miles, unless it really does hammer the wet stuff down that is.......wife doesn't like the TVR in such weather after watching me slide across the A3 in my 3000M....

The old barn in bagshot is probably as good as any big car park, cleaned and polished my chimaera as well last night so may come in the M3 as my better halfs not so keen on sideways action in the wet either.

can someone post some directions - how about 7:30+ for a meet up time?

weather seems to be cheering up here (famous last words...) so Griff may well get a chance after all.

Ah-ha! Vindicated in not cleaning the Griff all weekend.

What's the problem, Chaps? I was coming in to work this morning and a guy going the other direction in a Caterham had a baseball cap as his wet weather gear - made me feel a right wuss with the top on, I can tell you!

Where is the Old barn, how do you find it?

I'll go in the rain - good chance to test the Fabsil job I did over the weekend. And, if you happen to use Turtlewax Extreme, the beading action pretty much dries your car by the time you get home...and unnecessary speeds are not required, either...honest!!

Madness is assumed

Shall we meet at The Old Barn then?? 19:30?? And is anyone going to stay for food, or just a ??

See y'all there

PS-The Old Barn is on the A30 in Bagshot, next to Pantiles Bar/Club...right near the junction for the A322, and near Bagshot Park, where the "Wessex" family lives...
