I know some of you guys were talking about this Mark Adams chip last night, what's people's experience with these?

Well Mark is pretty cool, but I think the off the shelf option is not a good idea, but a rolling road session chip will be the right thing to go for.

I have had an off the shelf chip, it runs lumpy at tickover, but a load smoother through the revs but does run very rich, Mark thinks that I might have a higher pressure regulator. So another £350 for a rolling session

I think that it is the best thing to do for the larger V8 engines but I have my doubts about the 4ltr as it is an off the shelf unit so the maping cannot be that far out, but I guess we'll have to wait until someone does it on the smaller engine.

The one thing I can say is that if you have any odd engine problems Mark will sniff them out like a Vicar in a whore house. he can teach you a lot about the beest!! that's worth the money in it's own right.

Who belongs to this? I think the headlamp conversion looks great! Is it expensive?

Have to admit it's mine! Decided that I'd stay with the Chim but wanted to update the looks. The work was done by Webbs in Bristol (TVR Bodyshop)including a complete front end respray. Cost approx £1200. The standard is superb.
