Just to clarify - I have no vested interest in this company, but am going to give it a plug as yet again Dan came through in a big way last week, fixing a mate of mine's plus 8 for free! (HT lead problem)

Apologies to those who have seen this in Crap Service thread...

Dan Monk has started up under the name Kensington Classics and I'm going to give him a quick plug for no other reason than he's bloody good!

Dan grew up in Worcester and was trained at the Morgan factory. He travelled the world as a race mechanic with their FIA GT team. He has fixed, bodged and worked miracles with everything from AC Cobras, to MGs via of course Moggies. His dad builds perfect DB3s copies - it is in the blood.

His workshop is in Astwood Mews which is right by Gloucester Road tube station. He has fixed my Triumph, my Caterham, my integrale. And of course, he's cheaper than any main agent. The guy is a great spanner, on top of which he's one of the nicest people I've ever met. He will bend over backwards to fit into your schedule - collect, deliver cars etc.

The number is 0207 370 0736 - try him!
