MG SV to be Movie Star

Fast and the Furious style Brit Flick?

At the Cannes film festival this week, Box Office Films announced that the new $10m action adventure movie ‘RUN’ would feature the MG XPower SV coupe. Starring in the film will be Rick Yune (The Fast and the Furious, Die Another Day) and Simon Webbe of pop band Blue, who is making his feature film debut.

Filming will commence in July 2004, directed by Andy Morahan (Highlander III: The Sorcerer, Tales From the Crypt).

Yune heads the cast in the lead role of Harry "Mac" McKenna, an American bounty hunter who hits the streets of modern urban England searching for the truth only to find a non-stop nitrous-injected world, a beautiful but mysterious woman and more truth than he ever bargained for (rumours are that it's set in a McDonald's car park...).

Produced by Craig Blake-Jones and Graham Kelly for Box Office Films, "RUN" will shoot for 10 weeks in the UK and Russia and is budgeted at $10million.
