Searching for a SJM 100M (maroon MGBGT)

Wonder if anyone can help, my late mother owned the above vehicle up until the late 70s/early 80s. I last saw it on a main road in Milnthorpe, Cumbria around 2003/2004. Would love to know where it is, be even better if I could go and see it.
I have contacted the MG owners club and they did not have the owner on their membership.
DVLA have the owner details but will not release them to me

According to the DVLA website, it hasn't been taxed since 2005 - https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/

That’s right, but it doesn’t say if it has been scrapped or not. I did write to DVLA and they replied but would not give me the owners details. I wonder if someone has it in a barn somewhere
