Rocker switches

Morning all

Just wondering if someone can help with a quick query - do the USA / Canadian spec rocker switches (with the chrome effect surround) fit a UK standard MGB (chrome bumper vintage)?

What model switches, the 73/74 type?

If we are talking US spec, from memory the 73/74 switches are wider than the earlier chrome bar switches.

Thanks for the reply. Not sure what you mean by “chrome bar” though.

The switches I have are standard rockers for a ‘74 B with a black surround.

I was hoping to replace them with the same style switch, from same year car, but US / Canadian spec with the chrome bezel.

If they won’t fit I will either have to find another way or give up!

I am pretty sure that they are different sizes. The US switches are wider.
