Dead engine MGF 2002

I had a pleasant drive back from work with my 2002 MFG auto running extremely well, parked it in the garage and then this morning when I went to move it to get the lawn lower out it would not start. The engine turns over at normal rate but it seems that there is either no spark or no fuel coming through.
Amazing that this has happened from running fine and turning the vehicle off and then not starting the next morning with no apparent problems of funny noises
Any ideas ?

Semms that there is no fuel or spark?

Or have you 100% factually confirmed that these are both missing?

2 different things. Check them both.

Fuses, relays checked? Cambelt still intact? Can you hear the fuel pump running when the ignition is on?

Start with the basics..
