SR4 Used Slicks

Hi All,

I’m looking for some used slicks suitable for track days in my SR4. The car currently has Dunlop 175/535/R13 and 230/570/R13, but these are getting a bit tired now. Does anyone have anything available?

Been meaning to have a clear out .........

Have six rears and four fronts of varying quality in these sizes, all Dunlops, all the (sadly) no longer available 622 compound that really suited the wide wheel optioned SR4s and PR6s for 20 minute sprint races.

All are either too old and/or too many heat cycles for pointy end race pace, but at least some of them should certainly be good enough for percentage trackday use.

Can't be messing around with organising couriers myself, so that would be down to whoever wants them. If collection is a possibility, I'm pretty well in the sticks near Diss, but I'm fairly often at Snetterton, for example, like tomorrow for the Radical Challenge etc.

Cost? £10 per tyre all of which will be passed as a donation to the folks looking to preserve the few remaining Avro Vulcans.

PS Just Noticed; my fronts are 190s - you seem to have an odd combo there of standard fronts and wide option rears?

Well I'm pleased you queried the front tyre size because I just double checked and the 175's are my front wets, not the slicks... My slicks are 190s.

I'd be happy to take all ten of these from you and very much approve of your donation to help preserve the magnificent Vulcans!
