I initially used the SR4 for hillclimbs and sprints and it came factory fitted with some big super soft Avons on wide rims - can't remember sizes now. I didn't notice the rear tyre clearance problem until I got the car home and sat in it and moved it around a bit. I then discovered that the return edge of the rear wheel arch caught the outside wall of the tyre so I had to shave off a few mill to get clearance. You don't want to risk ruining a tyre on your first event. All of this was 14 years ago !

Today i have modified the chasis in order to be able to remove the clutch cover, and inspect or change clutch parts without removing the engine.
