Hello All,

hoping someone can help with a newly aquired clubsport.

First outing at Oulton Park a couple of weeks ago was simply incredible, I know these are the babies of the Radical range but it was a whole new world after historic Lotus Élan and will take some getting used to.

Anyway, I’ve only just got round to taking it off the trailer for a clean and checkover.
We knew on the day that there was a bit of play somewhere in the front and sure enough both track rod rose joints are knackered. Does anyone know what size these are?

Also, what’s the sorrect amount of chain tension?

Thanks in advance

Should be 3/8 UNF LH thread and 3/8 bore

Chain tension is 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch

Cheers Josh,

Have you got a preference when it comes to suppliers for these? I know NMB are the best but is there anything else worth bothering with?

Also discovered a load of play in the steering colum mount. Didn’t have time to investigate further, is this a plastic type bush or a bearing?

Thanks again

Ps. Congrats on your weekends results!

Aurora and NRE are all good too. The steering column top bush is just a spun piece of nylon, I doubt R stock one for a Club/Pro and they are slightly different to a PR6 one so it would be easiest to get one made by a local engineering company.

Thanks, it went as well as we could have hoped for smile
