I am going to increase the capacity of my Hyabusa from 1300 to 1500. I have a Prosport used for racing.

The companies I am considering to do this work are either TTS in Northampton or Powertec.

Does anyone have any experience with either of these companies and if so can you please let me know if good or bad.

Also is there anything else I need to change on the car at the same time to ensure reliability?

I'd appreciate any comments or shared experiences.

Thanks

Jonathan

Hi Johnaton, thinking about going down the same route myself with our Prosport, we willhave the engine built by Extreme Engines as we have never had a problem with any of the motors Karl has built us yet (1100cc C/sport & 1300cc P/sport). Only issue which concerns us is chain life as they can be marginal at the best of times and the 1500cc hac loads more torque, the damage a broken chain normally causes proves expensive!!

Thanks Paul,

The chain was also a concern of mine. I believe though that you can get very heavy duty chains and also hevier duty sprockets. If I get any more info on them, I'll post it here.

Do you know if Extreme Engines have a website?

Thanks Gentlemen, I've gone down the Powertec route, and am dropping the engine to them this afternoon. I based this simply on the fact that they are part of Radical and therefore are proven. So we shall see! Getting it out to be a Britsports at Snetterton, so that will be the acid test!
