I'm looking at running a PR6 for hillclimbing. A bit of an odd one (the car being somewhat lardy, err.. stupidly obese..), having come from single seaters, but age takes it's toll.

In an ideal world, it's a very tidy example, set up for tall folk (6'2" - the Josh pedal mod.), paddle shifts, open ECU (MBE would be ideal) and bears a suitably modified engine. It's not an ideal world. Some idea of 'ideal' approximated to one for sale earlier this year, at (for me) a very, very wrong time, the 1400 PR6 born in 2012 (the Hill car?). Looked great, realistically priced too, damn shame.

Trawling through the usual (RCD, et. al), there are a few available to look at, though the examples available look (to me) to be either far from my 'ideal' specification or unrealistically priced (some both). If you're considering selling, I am considering buying... I'm indecisive though... infuriatingly so... drop me a line.

Thanks for the pointer, yes, I'm aware of the (rather fresh) Stable's example appearing in the RCD classifieds, there also appears to be a 'focused' Hillclimb car - albeit in Marbella. Usually towards the end of the season, more appear, which will hopefully be worth the wait.

Getting away from the classifieds for a minute, TTS appear to worked on a PR6, I wonder what that car is doing these days. One way around the weight of the car.

This car is still around and being used for Sprints and Hillclimbs.

Have you any idea of what/which Championship in Hillclimbing/Sprinting that TTS-modified PR6 is running around in?
That idea notwithstanding, have you any idea of how it's times compare with the more 'clubman' type singleseaters (the older spaceframe variety, not the carbonised items, e.g OMS2000M etc.)

My thanks for any help, much appreciated.
