Has anyone got any used (but good!!) slicks for our Clubsport for track day use. Rear's in particular.
1st choice would be Avons as the car is set up for cross ply's, but we could change to radial's

My advise would be to change to the Matador radials ASAP as they last far,far longer than the Avons with no real performance difference. As an example with our Clubsport last year we did approx 16hrs of racing & testing on 2 complete sets. You can buy from Radical or try Matador direct as a cheaper option, if you dont intend to race.

He sources a lot of low-usage tyres from racing teams and passes them on. I think he charges around £10 per corner.

what setup do you need for the radials? Lots of neg camber ISTR. Do you need to change the wishbones to get it?

You could try Van Kaiser of Slipstream
Racing on 07747 845055. I race with him and we use a new set for each meet, the tyres only do about 50 laps from new. He'd be more than happy to help you out.
