How comfortable are the Radical seats without any padding?

Ok, as long as you don"t move around in them as you drive the track, if you are purchasing a new car they will do a seat fitting for you.

Will they!? First I've heard about it - hope they haven't made mine already!

Must admit, seemed surprisingly comfortable considering it just a piece of fibreglass.

I went to the factory when I bought my clubsport and you get a choice of "standard" seat in small, medium or large, I was quite happy with one of these but you can have one made to measure which I guess would work out quite expensive!

Danny, don't worry, I don't think they've even started your car yet

The standard seats come in basic small/medium and large sizes, but you can always do your own seat by getting either the expanding foam or the indi-seat, both are ideal if you are during endurance races and can't get comfortable with a standard seat. From experience though a standard seat with a little bit of padding taped in works fine.

See the latest 996 vs. SR3 article on the website, you'll see some extra cushioning on the seats. Hopefully the factory will throw this in for free - looks like it might make quite a difference!

The seat covers shown in the Radical appear on the Tracksport price list.

They are made out of padded Leather and are attached to the moulded seats via 'Velco' pads.
They are really smart, and from my session at Bruntingthorpe, very comfy. The didn't move around under cornering or braking either.

However, they are well expensive at £78 + vat each (£156 for 2, or £183.30 inc VAT). Ouch !
