Have not had the opportunity to view the SR4. Can someone tell me the differences between it and the clubsport or prosport?

It's a 2 seater replacement for the Clubsport. See the Radical website for pictures and more info.

Apart from the bodywork - no differences?

Different engine - the SR4 has a 1200, different rear suspension (Nik-link), lots of other things more modern, plus two seats and different chassis.

Yea..ok.. but with a marginal price differnce with the SR3 tracksport before you add options (like the BIIG wing..that we all want)
Why shouldnt you buy the SR3 for trackdays?

You should buy the SR3 - at the moment. However, the SR3 will probably be more expensive to run and, with a similar config, slower than the SR4. It has a lot more room for passengers though.

In North America the car is being supposedly offered with a 1000 cc engine as well as a lightweight option. Are those available in the UK as well. Anyone know how much weight is saved with the lightweight body and suspension and chassis.

The thing is I hate that bloody chaindrive..It just doesnt make sense, why not fit a quaife box for the 1-2k(whatever the costprice is) extra as it is priced around the cheaper sr3 anyway.
Are there problems with the gearbox since they chose not to do that?

Chain drive is alot simpler design and cheaper than a quaife box.

The simpler something is the more reliable it 'may' be perhaps?

It is also alot easier to change the gear ratio's with chain drive.

Especially with the SR4 as they have a new easy-change rear sprocket arrangement. They've even got a proper reverse system now as well (which can't weigh more than 1kg).
