Good! The top line is that it was about half a second a lap quicker than the Clubsport last year. The tyres are more durable and a harder compound, which will probably slow the clubsports down. Through the fast kink, it was the only thing that was flat (even the Prosports and SR3s were needing a slight lift).

As Guadix is mainly slow speed corners and it mullered the Clubsport pace through the fast corners, I expect it to be significantly quicker on a 'proper' circuit, and the tyres should last a few races.

More naturally understeery than the Clubsport, and rewards a more conventional driving style (i.e. Not so sideways through the slow corners).

I like!

There were about 8 Radicals there altogether, but only a handful (if that) running on any one day. What did the folks in Estoril think of the SR4 - did they get any dry running? I actually managed about a day and a half of dry running (which was fortunate as we didn't have any wets for it!).

I think they all enjoyed the car...we had wet and dry conditions. I think that Robin had to work pretty hard to get some wets put on to rims so they ran in both conditions.

Saw the next batch of cars coming out of the factory yesterday, inc Mick's and Tony's...

Alec.

Tuesday's test, is that the one on 9 Mar at Snett?

I was thinking of popping along to watch ... but out of my way but we're picking up the new GT3 and I want a chance to exercise it on nice country roads

Yes, it arrived minus- 1)spare rims and wets 2)seat insert 3)roll over bar fairing, wing mirrors were hanging off, no reverse gear,in need of polishing, all typical of course, having said all that she looks a million dollars (now i have applied polish)
Hoping to go to bruntingthorpe tomorrow to shake it down / run - in etc.

Hi Tony,
Hope the shake down went ok. Sorry we couldn't help yesterday. As it turned out late afternoon would have been fine. It was a bit snowy first thing however...
