Looks like the SR4 was quicker than most SR3's @ Brands according to the Radical web site, all you SR4 owners must be pleased!!!

That's just a misconception. The SR3 is still significantly quicker than the SR4. Just some of the drivers on the day weren't...

Adrian, how did you get on in the end at brands? any sort of set-up learnt? and are you going to snett next tuesday?

Not as well as I'd hoped. Certainly not in the 47s unlike some reported on the Radical website. On the setup front, we put the setup on that I'd come up with at Guadix, which seemed pretty well balanced. We really need to start working the data between us to figure anything out for sure.

So Mick Hyde's data logged theoretical 45's just a pipe dream?...The car makers being economical with the truth, surely not!

Theoreticals can lie big time if you don't set up the splits right (the standard setup by the system is all wrong). The SR3s were capable of doing real 45s.

Yes, I will be at snett and so will duncan but neither of us will have data on the day ( Turbo is a busy boy at the moment with the TVR) so I guess it will be stopwatches and seat of the pants feedback for us !! Will your datalogger be fitted then ?
PaulT, micks 45sec lap at brands in a SR4 is a forgotton dream, beleive me.

Turbo should be fitting my data logger on Monday, fingers crossed. We should get our boys on the pit wall to time some of these other cars to find out what the competition is really like!
