Just been hit from behind... Anyone got a bumper?

Just been hit from behind in the middle of Wandsworth roundabout. The typical BMW driver decided to clear off without stopping so now I'm looking at a £1k bill to replace the rear bumper, assuming there is no other damage I can't see.

So, has anybody got, or know where I can get a good condition, used rear bumper for a 1990 XJ40?

Any help would be much appreciated...

try any breakers yard! failing that there are many many specialist jaguar breakers. xj40s in scrapyards are plentiful.

OK, after a lot of phonecalls and decision making I have decided to replace the bumper myself.

Bearing in mind that the specialist quoted £1k to supply & fit, if I had put it on my insurance I would have had to pay the £350 excess.

I have just sourced an almost new bumper from Berkshire Jag Spares complete with original jaguar stickers for the excellent sum of £200! He even told me over the phone the exact process for removal which is really very simple, not what I was expecting at all.

Well I feel a lot happier now anyway.
