Side View Mirrors and Tail lights

I love my 2000 XKR.

But! I think the side view mirrors are naff looking, and the tail lights look dated.

Does anyone know where these can be updated and at what cost? I would particularily like to change the mirrors.

Was talking about this just today, as I am intersted in an XKR and thought about just changing the old looking stuff for the new. Evidently it is not just about taking out the old and slapping in the new. For the tail lights, a bit of metal cutting is required on the brackets, due Jag not wanting people to upgrade these parts. But it can be done, probably bloody expensive, was roughly quoted £600!

I was not aware the mirrors changed?

The side mirrors are not different on the new models. I thhink they are still naff. There is so much room for improvement in them. They should be more streamlined and more befitting of a desireable sports-car.
