They have my XK8 in for service today and I am deeply impressed.
I am less impressed with what they found; if you recall, in July this year Sudbury's in Swindon allegedly replaced the whole front subframe, bushes, wishbones - you name it - at a cost of well over £1500. My complaint at the time was that they sent it back to me with the steering geometry 7 degrees out of true and wandering all over the road.
Racing Green now tell me that - 2,000 miles later - the Upper Balljoint has failed and the car is thus unroadworthy. Is it unreasonable to expect Sudbury's to have picked this up when they removed and replaced the subframe?
I love this car. I do not like Jaguar Cars Ltd, and I despise Jaguar dealerships the length and breadth of the land
