Jaguar XF SV8, worth buying?

Evening All,

Im new to Jags but have test driven two XF SV8 and really like them. Nothing has put me off but thought I would drop a message here and see if there is anything specific to look out for when buying one?

Im doing the usual stuff HPI etc and most likely use AA or RAC to look over the cars before purchase.

Any information welcome.

One of the guys at work has one - he's had it from almost new as an exdemo and he really rates it - very Q-car.

Speaking to him about it, it seems his Sat Nav has been problematic and Jaguar struggled to get to the bottom of it, and his windows recently started opening themselves for no reason after he left it parked up - I'm not sure what the outcome was.

The thing is, he pays the Jaguar extended warranty, which he thinks is worth it, as when he has had issues, they would have been very expensive to fix.

If I remember I will ask him what problems he has had and post back, as I can't remember everything.

Can you stretch & hold out for the 5.0Ltr XFR....better product all round and with the much better seats...

Very good Q Car without the XF-R stylised looks. Surprises lots of people who think its just a 2.2D.
