very sad day as my XKR has finally gone to hopefully a better place. having done just 3k in over 3 years and only 400 miles last year it was better to let someone else enjoy it.
So after 3 XJ6, 5 XJS, 1 S type and 1 XKR I am now no longer a Jaguar owner.

A good X308 is an V8 flavored itch that must be scratched. Go for it. And what a absolutely stunning pic that particular one makes...

Done the gearbox and back axle, the engine was done by a specialist jaguar engine building company. Here are some more pictures of the rebuild:

The shell now has its keel laid and work progresses:

The bulkhead sub assembly is nearly finished and positioned for photo purposes only:

Fantastic work there e600.

Looked on this thread as currently have an e93 M3 but have started looking at XF-Rs. Grew up with my old man having three XJ-Ss in succession but never had a Jag myself - it's an itch that is increasingly demanding a scratch. And with children increasingly finding a two door coupe/cabriolet a pain, a four door with 500bhp seems like a good answer biggrin

My first ever Jag.
XF sportbrake 2.2d luxury. Anyone tell me what the name of the colour is? It has a lovely metalflake effect in the sun

Is that an XE or XF? As a car enthusiast with a particular taste for Jaguars it is not a good sign that I struggle to tell them apart.

XF, I struggle too so its a common problem. The XE is a little more squat, slighting smaller front grill and the XF & XE have different rear light clusters
