sadly not mine even in that condition.
Its well worth dropping into that place in Bridgenorth the Cars they have in their are just out of this world. They even had Cars sent over from the States to be worked on. Just Googled CMC and the guy who started it has "Given" the company to the 60 staff who work there.

It's a Realm, I don't like the phrase kit as this suggest you are blessed with instructions wink

Here's my '89 V12 XJS.
My Dad bought it new in '89, to date it's still not turned over to 9000 miles! I look after it following his death and it's a garage queen that doesn't get used enough but I'm trying to change that.

It's is almost completely original, the only thing that comes to mind that isn't as it rolled out of the factory is the battery, excluding oils, filters etc. The shift lever is a complete 1 off, custom made by Paramount Jaguar as a thanks to my Dad for buying the car, he'd bought maybe 10 cars off them previously so was a good customer.

Thanks smile

I've been keeping a loose eye on the market for maybe 15 years, used to enjoy looking with my Dad, and I am yet to see a better one for sale in all that time.
There's been a couple with very slightly more miles but either worse colour combo or generally not as well looked after.

I am down as the only owner from new because the DVLA are less than competent(bought at 8 months old?!), have the old paperwork, every single tax disc and MOT cert etc. It'll never be going anywhere though so the value doesn't matter in the slightest.

That XJ-S is absolutely gorgeous. Lovely to have one with that family history too, I hope you never part with it.

That XJS is wonderful and such a pretty car too. I really think that they are now being appreciated for the great cars that they always were.

Just being nosy, but can you post a photo of the one-off gear selector?

His father must have really appreciated it and lets hope it stays in the family rather than being sold to someone who sees it as an appreciating asset.
Fabulous car in a great colour combo too.

It's taken a while but definitely think the xjs is turning a corner, especially the convertible....

This is about the best I have at the minute. Made from the same leather to match the seat, normal ones are like a T bar design I believe.

Nice to get some appreciation for it, it will never be an E Type but I think they're pretty cool, if not just for the fact of how much flex the chassis has!

To GiveItSomeWellie, Diesel.

To JonnyVTEC, it’s Italian Racing Red, now renamed Firenze as per Land Rover colours. Looks bright in the sun, burgundy on a rainy day like today
