It's taken a while but definitely think the xjs is turning a corner, especially the convertible....
Coupe's have been increasing for quite a while now and £15k to £20k Cars are not unusual now and making Convertibles £20k plus.
I keep seeing this and thinking “at last” usually followed by “so what, I’m not selling her” and the other half pointing out that it will be a long while before any increase in value outweighs the cost over the years biggrin

Anyway those two convertibles are lovely Joe-53vdc and skinthespin thumbup

Further to the post a while back, here is a massive, lardy, barge like XJR-S next to that tiny, lithe, minimalist icon the MX5 hehe

Do be fair this photo doesn't show the near 1 metre of extra length the XJS has over the MX5.

You want to post that to the "Classics dwarfed by moderns" thread over in the classic forum.

I know filters aren't to everyone's taste, but I like how this one came out.

To be fair the MX5 looks to have the problem with excess weight on the hips from that picture and length is important if you want a proper engine in a car .biggrin

Hello All,

New to PH’s. Member of F-Type Owners Forum which is great resource & have attended a few Jaguar meets this year. Including Jaguar Super Saturday in Coventry & monthly Jaguar Breakfast Club at Gaydon. Here’s my four wheeled girlfriend...

She is tucked away now for winter, unless weather improves. A few mods lined up along the way. Hope to meet some of you in the future.

Here's my '89 V12 XJS.
My Dad bought it new in '89, to date it's still not turned over to 9000 miles! I look after it following his death and it's a garage queen that doesn't get used enough but I'm trying to change that.

It's is almost completely original, the only thing that comes to mind that isn't as it rolled out of the factory is the battery, excluding oils, filters etc. The shift lever is a complete 1 off, custom made by Paramount Jaguar as a thanks to my Dad for buying the car, he'd bought maybe 10 cars off them previously so was a good customer.

I recognise that location! Lovely car, and a lovely back story too. I'll be looking out for it once the weather improves.

Which confirms my thought that the XK8 (X100) and XK (X150) should really be called XJS Mk2 and Mk3 smile

Here's my Christmas present to myself. A 2010 XFR.

This is my second XF, The first was a 3.0 diesel, a great car but I always wanted the XFR.
I thought it would be quick but this thing is absolutely nuts!
I can't wait for some dry roads now.

Well Bye Bye XF.

No-one hurt, and I wasn't driving, but my XF is off to the dealer in the sky.

How much can I expect for a 2010 88 k miles 3.0 D?

Ouch
Occupants will feel sore tomorrow. Hope everyone’s ok.
Must have been quite a knock to trigger the curtains.

The drivers door doesn't shut with a satisfying clunk any more. That tells me the whole thing is bent.

Only one occupant at the time so no-one hurt - apart from me!

looks like value is £9-£10 k?

Lets see what the insurers think.

Does this count? It was owned by Jag at the time. Original, never been restored 1963 Daimler 250 V8
If not I hope this makes up for it. 3 litre twin turbo V6, great car.
