Thanks.

Just checked again and it seems like the shelf/cover is missing. Is there a part number for the shelf/cover?

There's two holes on the underside of the boot lid which im assuming is where the clips go, which are also missing.

How i missed this when i bought it i'll never know!
Give the vendor a call, it won't be the first time someone's simply forgotten to put the shelf back in.

Ok I will join in.....got this XK8 4.2 about 6 months ago to replace a TVR Tuscan. Have reached the time of life when I need a few more creature comforts.

Nice motor. I also took the fuse out of aerial.
Doesn't your car have the standard parcel shelf? Fixed to the hatch?
Silly question- which fuse do you remove to stop the electric aerial rising on an XK?

Number 4, I think it's in the fuse box behind the panel in between the rear seats.

Some lovely cats in this thread, so I thought about time I shared my baby !
These must be one of the best kept performance car secrets around currently.
I love the change in character from "rapid" in Drive, "nuts" in Sport to "psychotic" in Dynamic.

Once fuse 19 has been removed the exhaust note is fantastic throughout the rev range.

Lovely car. If you think removing fuse 19 makes a nice noise, go stick an upgraded back box on it wink

Not quick as some of the Jags on here, but this my new XE and first time Jag owner, loved the look of them since launch.

Nice! I had an XE as a courtesy car last week and very much liked!

Plan on waiting for prices to come down a bit and then replace the daily with one.
