I have just bought an XKR convertible with Jaguar Motorola 8700 phone. The previous owner used it with Vodaphone, but I am on Orange. Will it work with my SIM ?

you may be able to get the phone unlocked at a shop, thus allowing it to work on all networks

I got a seperate vodafone sim card (£7.99pm from Chatterbox.com at the time) with 200 free minutes. I just divert my mobile to it when I get in the car.

Seems to work well enough, just cost a bit more that's all.

Seems to work fine with my Virgin SIM, but I have a vague memory of Virgin being in some way linked with O2.

Tried my Motorola V500 SIM did not work, my old SIM from Orange also failed. Unless I can get the phone unlocked cheap a Pay as you go SIM looks best option.

get the IMEI number from the inside of your phone and contact the Orange help desk. They should be able to connect you.
