Hello,

Does anyone know the whereabouts of this car, it's my uncle's old car and I know he would live to know where it is now or maybe even see it again?
This is the only picture I have...

Well it is shown as taxed & MOT'd on the GOV site, which is a good start. Colour now given as red.

Hi Tim,

Great to hear from you, my uncles name is Brian Hogarth, and the car used to live in Hampshire, I’ll try and catch up with him next week and see if he has any other pictures.
He doesn’t actually know I posted this so it will hopefully be a great surprise knowing it’s still on the road. Where abouts in the country are you as I’m sure Brian would be made up to see it again, feel free to email me through my profile if you’d prefer.

Many thanks

It was a surprise for me to
I am in bradford on Avon Wiltshire , I joined the forum in order to get in contact , just typed the registration into bing & up popped your request top of the list, really lucky I spotted it wierd , anyway I have never used this forum before so know nothing about it , if you give me an email address I can forward loads of pics , alternatively I could get one of my kids to send them with messenger. Give my best to your uncle I hope he would be pleased to see it’s current condition , it still running fine, is he the gentleman that did a lot of work on engine etc, one of them drove it all around Europe clocking up 50k in 2 years , but he woud already know all this
Funny how fond of cars we all are

Cheers him

Makes a nice change for one of these questions to come up trumps, albeit a couple of years later smile

I hope you enjoy meeting up and sharing the history of the car.

Just spotted this car on eBay.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/E-Type-Jaguar-4-2-2-2-O...

Bonnet is a hybrid with half series 1 and half series 2. I guess the original car was a 1.5.
