They give you 7 days free insurance with new cars.
I'm getting my XE delivered tomorrow but can't get my insurance because they haven't registered the car registration yet. So offered me 7 days insurance.
Can't wait only 1 sleep away!

You can ask insurance company to choose model manually and add reg plate to it. Car doesn't have to be registered or visible in system when arranging insurance with future date.

After I queried it they said the cars come with 20 miles on the clock so that would put me over the 250 mile limit....not that convinced myself

Got car yesterday very happy with it.
Only gripe is the lights. Wish they came with the xenon. Don't like the yellow halogens, think need to invest in some after market led ones.
Any recommendations?

One thing I wasn't sure about from seeing some screenshots. Is it in desperate need from some exhaust trims ?

Picked mine up this morning at 8am..never been in such a posh dealership before..Velars and £60k Discos everywhere...obviously there is a lot more money darn sarf than there is oop North...nice chatting to the driver from Harwoods , a fellow petrol head..they could have filled up the tank though...lovely 250 mile drive to my mum's..think I am going to prefer it to my wife's dsg Gti, comfier seats and more linear acceleration.

Mine was delivered yesterday morning at 8.30am by a splendid chap called Tim who set off early (5am!) so I could have the car to enjoy and not disturb my day. Must say, customer service from Harwoods has been spectacular - much like the car, which is simply wonderful.

Hope everyone else enjoys theirs - see you in a couple of years when we try to find the next great bargain lease!

Mine was delivered on Monday. Very good service all round from Harwoods I would say. Came with 58 miles on the clock.

The car itself is pretty good. Quick enough for me, but didn't realise 1) how low down it sits, 2) the middle rear seat is pretty useless, 3) no electric adjustments on the driver seat. Can't complain for the price though. Hope everyone else is enjoying their new wheels.

Driving like an old fella I'm getting 38. In Eco mode.
I have no idea how they get to the advertised 45 in combined.
Loving the car though

Took your advice. Took an eco run and did 36 mpg on mixed terrain. Have you worked out how much the service is at year one ?

Car has ticked over 1000 miles now and am getting 36mpg on my commute along an A road in a mix of normal and dynamic. Was hoping for 40 but I'm sure it'll improve as it loosens up.

Anyone else find that the climate control blows warm and then cold even when at a set temperature? My only annoyance at the moment - Jaguar have said there's nothing wrong with it!
