Afternoon all

Apologies if this issue has been covered recently, but has anyone attempted a headliner replacement?

i watched a very informative video on youtube from JagTV which details the steps - a few bits look fiddley but it seems doable over the course of a weekend

also has anyone ordered the replacement liner from Jaguarheadlinings.com? In the video they are able to bend the new liner in, hence avoiding the need to remove windows / seats.

I'm not against taking it to an auto trim specialist but the only one recommended to me is around an hour's drive. Tackling it myself seems a bit of hassle but nothing ventured...

all feedback welcome

Dave

I did mine a while ago. I have an XJ308 without sunroof. I bought a replacement headling from Myrtle productions which is top quality and fitted it by myself.
No special tools are needed. No need to remove windows etc. The only thing I did was to lay both front seats flat. Only took a couple of hours and as they say, you can fold it to get it through the door.
Very worthwhile job
Go for it!
Hope this helps

I had a headlining from jaguarheadlinings and have no complaints. I did get it fitted professionally and it was a windscreen out job. I recall this being necessary on the SWB...
That said I did tie it in with a replacement windscreen due to an unrepairable chip
