I don't know about anyone else but I think the standard XK8 exhaust trims are too small, not by much, but not a nice as the later XKR type. So, question, where can I get such an exhaust system and what will the cost be. I had a look around before christmas but IIRC £1500 in stainless was banded about.

I have a Racing Green exhaust on my 'R' gives a good V8 sound.

I think they still do 3 sound levels, ask Chas @ RG for advice.

Join the XK8/R Club www.xkec.co.uk there is quite a lot on their forum.
You have to be a member to access the main part of the forum.

PS the club will be at Beaulieu (over 100 cars) on the 8th May, if you come down you will see many of our cars with new systems on.

Ajmac,

I can certainly recommend Racing Green's work...I had their pipe fitted on my XK8 today, spookily enough! Not the new budget pipe mentioned above, but the Level 2 Super Sport Half system...excellent!

A little more than £1500....but well worth it IMO.

I have sent you a e-mail with some details!
