Can anyone look at a car for me near Glasgow?

Afternoon everyone.

This might be a bit of a long shot, but I was wondering if there is anyone in the Helensburgh area who could go and take a look at a Jaguar XK for me?

I’m working on a ship so totally stuck. I would, of course, be offering a couple of cases of beer or bottle of fine wine as a bribe. or actual money!

Ah, that was the car that got away, it still pains me now!

As I said back there in June, I was working on a ship and unable to go and view it, and had no joy finding anyone to go for me, so I booked an appointment to have it professionally inspected. Before that inspection though, the seller got an offer he could not refuse, and I missed out.

In the end I waited until I was back in the UK and bought a different car. It’s lovely, but has over twice the miles and has cost me over a grand so far to sort out various issues, and there is a fair bit more to do. Anyway, here is the car I bought:
