Today I was given this wheel, I was told it’s from a Jaguar 1998 Le Mans winning Jaguar but looking online I would say I definitely is not.

The size of the wheel is 21 inch and the width is 16 inches. It’s very light.

Anyone any ideas? Thanks.

Sorry pic is upside down.

Are there any manufacture stamps or markings on the inner wheel?

I can’t see any markings at all.

Most racing rims by BBS, Speedline or similar would have a manufacture mark along with offsets etc. Strange it has no markings, however looking at the wheel it could be hidden under the white paint.

Might be a rear wheel from the 1986 XJR-6 press car for pre season publicity as they were white. Or it's been painted over the usual black of course...

I would say as some of the paint is pealing that it’s always been white.

I would love to find out what its from as i might get it powder coated and a great thing for my lounge as a coffee table. Would be great saying what car it’s from. I will look up on the 86 press car.

Mine is a 4 spoke wheel. That’s a five spoke. Dam I got excited then.

Yeah. Never mind. Maybe the Jag used other white wheels but I am not aware they did. They did use white "wheel trims" for the Norisring round in 86 and maybe others but that's it as far as I am aware.

Jaguar wheels make for excellent coffee tables, do it!
