Can anyone tell me how to remove the rear bumper off my jaguar sovereign. Thanks

What year and model is your Sovereign? There has been many different Jaguars bearing the name.

Series cars, XJ40, X300 and XJ8 are just a few,

Assuming it’s a V8 X308, not sure if X300’s are identical, and 97 was the change point.

If the splash guards are still in place at the rear of the wheel arches, they need removing first. There are then two large bolts fitted from under the bumper about in line where the angled corners of the bootlid rest - I think they are 17mm socket size. These need to be removed completely, then the bumper can be slid backwards off two slide blocks, one each side and lowered to the ground. If you have reversing sensors, the plug and socket will need separating. Much easier with 2 people.
I usually put strips of masking tape along the bottoms of the rear wings to prevent scratching anything.
The Mickey Mouse mounting blocks are often seriously corroded unless they have already been replaced.
