Nice, what’s the spec on the rebuilt Cerb? I’ve had two re-mapped 4.5 Cerbs, the last one was a 2001, one of the latest. Sort of sad to have sold them but I wasn’t in to the upkeep.
Body off full chassis refurb, engine refresh, uprated head gaskets ,rebuilt oil pump, water pump, power steering pump, steering rack, diff, drive shafts, ceramic coated manifolds ,full ACT decatted sports exhaust,ACT short induction, new clutch, lightened flywheel,Protech shocks, refurbished RL7 wheels plus a multitude of other bits.
Cost me more than I paid for the car in 2005 but worth every penny ,car now insured for 35k.
The F Type was an awesome car but didn't have the 'analogue' feel to the drive and the depreciation was quite alarming at the time !

Great work. That’s another Cerb on the road for a while longer.

F-Type’s do depreciate rapidly from new but that makes older models more of a performance bargain. My last one was a 2014 V8S, the last of the rear wheel drive F-Types, and it’s depreciation had slowed somewhat. Also, the annual service costs are bog standard Jag pricing, much less than any TVR.

I found the F-Type to be quite ‘analogue’ when the right foot was applied liberally, accompanied by lots of pops and bangs smile I also liked knowing I had anti-lock brakes and a few other modern driving aids available.

I haven't ruled out buying another F Type but it would have to be a V8 Coupe 😉
