Howdoo.
Does anyone know if a Power-Lock diff from an XJ40 would fit in my 98 XJR?
It's a bit scabby under there, and I'm considering dropping the whole subframe out, and re-building it.
It would be nice to put a LSD in in there while I'm at it.

IIRC Quaife did a LSD for the X100 XKR, perhaps this would be easier to get to work with the XJR.
I think that NormanD on here posted some stuff about it.
Their webpage about it doesn't seeem to have be updated for years.

Hi thanks for the reply's.
I was hoping a reconditioned powerlock would drop straight in.
I’ve had dealings with Quaiffe, and they are excellent. I have one of their torque bias diffs in my Caterham.
The thing is, I need the case too, as mine is a massive lump of flaky rust!
I suppose I’ll have to find a standard diff to recondition, and fit a Quaiffe.
