Looking at buying a F-Type V6S manual; zero interest in automatic / point and shoot.

I realise only 1% (8 vs 789 on AT) of all F-types are manual so most evidence will be highly anecdotal.
There are some horror stories (typically on American forums) of the manual gear box with significant clutch slip forcing owners to drive very gently or else deal with clutch slip of up to 20 secs.
What surprises me most is the driveline should be the same as BMW 35i models who do not seem to suffer from this?

To add insult to injury; some posts report it sorts itself after 5 miles (assumed when warm), but I hardly ever drive more than 5 miles anywhere.

Looking at post 2015 coupes, <30 miles.
If too much risk will probably move to Cayman or Mustang but both seem more boring, obvious choices.

I had a go in a 2016 Manual some years back , I must have test driven about 6 different versions of the F type such was my reluctance to part with my cash . The main reason for this reluctance was that in comparison to the X150 that I owned at the time , the F Type clearly is a different type of car . For me it was the drop off in performance going through the gears that I struggled most with so bad that at times it almost felt like clutch slip . I simply saw no benefit in owning one . I dont think the F Type is a better buy than any comparable Porsche , and I say this when it comes to both the finish of the end Product and the residuals when you move it on to the next buyer . Its simply a left field purchase in much the same way a TVR was back in the day and personally I like my SVR for that very reason . My humble advice to you when buying an F Type is drive as many versions as you can in order to make valid comparisons and then way up the pros and cons of whatever Model you decide on . Sorry I cant offer much more insight than the above , I had a drive in a Manual F type thinking it would be fun and rewarding like some of my old RS Fords were and even my old Cerbera , I came away disappointed though others may have a different viewpoint .
