I’m delighted you are being so proactive regarding this work , and I hope for a successful conclusion . As regards the PPF I always specify 3M products and thus far no issues . There is a Detailing Thread on this Forum so I would certainly be asking for a few thoughts and opinions , it’s a common enough process and I don’t think you will be short of some recommendations

My understanding is with new paint you should wait a while - at least a couple of weeks perhaps (?) - before applying PPF.
Someone with more knowledge than me will know!

As for PPF installation it’s always good to see an example of the installer’s work before choosing - I have just booked my car into xpelbiggleswade on that basis (not that local to me but very good to deal with so far, answering all my questions etc)
