As above, got it home yesterday without any issues.
I have a trickle charger that I normally connect up when it's in the garage that I can connect in via the accessories socket.
I assume I'm not going to blow anything?
Got the app but still finding my way round.
Thanks in advance.

No there shouldn't be any issues , I used a CTEK for many years in the manner you describe . I urge you to buy the CTEK rather than Jaguars own version which is more expensive . Its my guess you wont ever need a CTEK on the F Type , many owners simply do without assuming of course you arent parking her up for 6 months . I can be at Brewpoint Bedford anytime assuming you still have some money left for a Beer ? biglaugh

Thanks for that, I had a ctek wired into the TVR, and have a accumate from the motorbike days that I was going to use but didn't want to blow anything.
Yep fine for a beer soonish, have a house full at the moment with pending wedding (not me), skint would be closer to the mark.
Are you going to the Bedford owners meet on 1st April?

Would be better to use a ctek msx5.0 as it has a setting for the AGM type battery fitted. The accumate is really designed for lead acid battery’s. I assume when you mention the accessory socket it’s the one in the boot?

As far as I know its a breakfast meet at British motor museum in Gaydon 9.30 am on 1st April.
I don't think it's an April fool so please check it out
If you've not been before to the museum and want to go in, buy tickets on line as they are cheaper so I have been told.
I'll probably go along

Not for me but thanks for the thought . Being a bit of a Jaguar anorak if you are around the MK area I shall probably run into you sooner or later . You must keep an eye out for the Earls Barton Classic Car gatherings throughout the Summer , if you google the event you will
get the Details . A great variety of vehicles including Jaguars perhaps it’s just me but when a gathering is nothing but Jaguars I don’t feel that you really appreciate the cars . I tend to see them en bloc rather than individually and I hate that .
