Hi, is there any company which will recover front leather seats? Any idea how much that would cost?

Plenty of Companies will undertake this work but in order to prevent you possibly wasting money I wonder if I can ask a few questions . Firstly what has happened that these seats need recovering ? I ask this as there are some wonderful Products in the Marketplace which depending on their condition leave these seats like new . If you think this could be achievable then Glipstone is the Company you should be speaking to .

If the Seats are completely gone then I can thoroughly recommend this chap who did some work on an Alvis TD21 some years back and left an excellent job .

My advice is give him a call and price with him what you require . Specialised work such as this unfortunately doesn't come cheap so in addition I would be finding out the cost of two XKR seats from a Breaker just so you can make a comparison . Hoping this helps and you keep us all advised of what you decide .

Thanks a lot. I considered a breaker but a) they might not be that much better b) could take ages c) likelihood of it being the right colour is low.
I'd like another old style XKR which often can appear almost as new, barring the driver's seat. I see it can be refurbished but it is never as good as new. I wouldn't mind paying £500 or more just to get that "weak point" looking as good as new. That's the question really, could I get a recovering done for £500 or would it be £1000, or more? Will update.

Obviously as regards colour you will have to take pot luck as to whats available at the time but eBay is full of these seats in various colours . Dont disregard the Glipstone as it can work wonders . Most Buyers of older Jaguars prize originality with patina over new so personally newness wouldn't even concern me in an old X100 XKR

Dave the trimmer won't disappoint, he's between bedford and Milton Keynes, but expensive.
Deals with TVRs and others.
I think a lot will depend on whether you remove the seats or you want him to do the labour.
Call them all and get a ball park figure, and allow a few month before they can take it on.
Good luck.
