Hi

What prices are we looking at for a 70k service on a xkr? Any tips on good places to have it done, near Worthing?

In the franchised network or outside.

Two choices, Harwoods Jag of Chichester get my vote. Several XKR owners I know say they are on the ball and the service manager wants to keep the customer happy!

Outside the network, Arun Jag an independant dealer in Pulborough.

About £400 should be about right.

I just paid £300 for mine at Rybrooks in Chester....Not brilliant cos the 70k service is only a minor one.

£300 just for an oil change then!

Paid just under £300 at Sudbury's in Swindon in Jan for an 80k service(same as 70k). That was before I joined the Allegience Scheme, so should be 15% less next time.

Unfortunately next service is the 90k one which is quite big

Put the service money towards a less travelled XK Robo.

Wouldn't get me up the ladder as far as I want

Anyway, happy with my 8 - who needs holes

So these do a few more miles than your average TVR then?

They sure do, Robo's car has well over 100,000 miles on it, with no problems............

Steady on G!...mine may be nearly 9 yrs old but has only done 75k miles....the 90k service is by 'time' limitations.

However, John Millars has done 110k+ so it is possible
