WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING?

I was hoping you would get better fuel consumption than that, I might have one in the future.

Is it brand new? If so give it a while to bed in. Having said that my new XKR 4.2ltr V8 has just averaged 29mpg today down motorway!

I bought car as ex demonstrator from Jag main dealer and it now has 10k on clock so I thought it should be loose by now.
I was not shouting just asking if any one else had same car and if so what sort of consumption were they getting. Jag give combined as 36 mpg which I would have thought would be reasonable

You most certainly WERE SHOUTING! Its net etiquette; all upper case = shouting.

The advertised mpg is only a guide and 32mpg sounds about right

Ron, should be bedded in now like you say. Do you have a heavy right foot. Those numbers from Jag are on the optomistic side,

I consider myself quick rather than fast plus commuting into East London from essex does not allow fast driving. I get about 20mpg from my Chimaera 450 a bit better when touring so I think I am a reasonably economical driver.
I feel better now that I understand about net etiquette and am not shouting anymore!
