Help needed Xjs Xk8 purchase.

after looking for a boxster for a while a Tip not having much luck so thinking of changing mind and going for a Jag, i know totally different.

Had an old Xjs years ago and loved it.

it has to be a convertible though.

realise boxster and Jag are 2 different types but with jag option can take kids.

its got to be automatic.

any advice on where i should look, know autotrader.

but like to gain knowledge on pitfalls of owing one as mentioned had one years ago but did not take much interest, then as partners car.

got about £18,000 max, but looking at keeping a bit of money back.

With the boxster i was looking at getting a car where i could put a Porsche official warranty on do Jaguar do one of these.

Any advice gratefully appreciated

The first thing I would do would be to go down to the nearest dealer with the kids and try and fit them in the back with you in the drivers seat.

I didn't think I'd be able to drive more than a few yards with my (then) 4 year old behind me.

3 up is fine, someone behind the passenger or better still sitting across the back bum on one side feet on the other is OK. With the top down I've done that with an adult in the back.

Cheers

thanks Ash will start a new topic.

its going to be a weekend car, not looking at taking kids but it woul be nice if i could fit them in.

looked for a boxster for a while not as popular in tip, so thought why do not go back to old days with a Xjs.

but to not want it to be a big money pit though
