New Top Gear Magazine has the new XKR in it this month. New front with fogs, bonnet vents, 4 pipes, 420bhp.

I think I've just seen one of these on the roads today, 2pm at the "clock garage island" by the Castle vale factory.

A gun metal grey one with trade plates on, my first reaction was "oohh an Aston" then I realised what it was.

The louvres on the bonnet looked a lot more pronounced than the pictures in those spy shots, but I was in my transit van looking down on to it.

Funny you should say that. That'll more than likely be the car unveiled to the Dealer Principles last Thursday.

You'll have to forgive me here, (4 hours sleep since Friday, Germany, football, drive back from Stansted & just got off the M6 when I spotted it), but from seeing the Jag today & a quick look at the latest Astons for sale on Autotrader, I'd best describe it as Vanquish looking but with the bonnet louvres a lot lower.

It looked very aggressive.

I wouldn't say no, alas my bank manager would

Without breaching any confidentialty rules, is the X type revision minor cosmetic or a major overhaul and any release date?, I ask as I'm picking a new one up to replace my existing one on Friday and no its not a diesel its a 2.5 sport, private purchase
