Sorry, I am sure this question has been asked a few times before.

Me: over 40 (ahem), zillion years no claims, car not used to commute

Car: 1995 XJ 3.2 Sport

Any chance of classic car insurance on this? My previous 94 XJS managed it.

Specialist or just shop around the usual culprits?

Do you have another car as well?
They were happy to do me classic car insurance on my 94 XJ6 so long as I had something else to drive as well. They wouldn't do classic with full business use though frown Pity...they were quite happy for that with the XK150, didn't even charge me anymore for for adding business use biggrin

I have post befor but a lot of the JEC Members in the Surrey Region have found LV very good. Go into to the website and click on the thunbnail http://www.jaguar-enthusiasts.org.uk/jaguar-insura... you should get a good quote there.

That's OK

All part of the Surrey JEC Service.

I have my 97 XJ Executive on a classic policy shared with my 94 XJ Gold. I use Footman James. Discounts are available for being club member (JEC) and holding an Advanced Driving Certificate. Limited mileage of 6k/year with european brakedown cover thrown in! Can't rtemember the cost though, but will get reminded in March when the renewal quote appears!

Oh, and both of the cars are insured for agreed values, valuations being done by the JEC.

I just got a normal quote from Direct Line on a 1995 XJR - £305 FC. And I'm extremely young. (Well..early 30s!)
