Car choice - TT RS or B7 RS4 or R8 V8?

Think its horses for courses.
I bought a B7 RS4 from new and loved it. They do look a tad dated now imho.
I now own a brand new TT RS Plus and its a great car, actually looks sporty and special. I dont need the size of an R8 with not too much difference in power.
A V8 R8 (4+ years old) is a nice car but hasn't the cosmetics of the later V10 cars and I think looks dated compared to the currect spec and even the TT RS.

Mate no dis respect but if you think an R8 V8 looks dated compared to your TT then i feel you may need to get both eyes and head tested!!!!I bought a B7 RS4 from new and loved it. They do look a tad dated now imho.

As said Horses for courses the TT RS+ on a 63 plate vs a V8 R8 5yrs old.
Resurrecting an old thread because I'm in the fortunate position of considering a 25 grand TT RS Roadster or a 50 grand R8 V8 as my next toy. No other cars will do.
I don't think the R8 choice is so obvious. I'm worried the pleasure of owning the R8 will be severely soured by the pain in getting it serviced (not even all Audi dealerships can service them), the pain of finding a parking space that allows me to get back in it again (recently borrowed a Range Rover and it was a pain the width severely limited where it could be parled) and just how practical it is on narrow winding country roads.
As much as R8 ownership appeals the more reasonably sized and anonymous TT RS sounds very appealing?

TTRS all the way for me, love it to bits.
Nothing to do with not being able to afford an R8, just love the style, handling and the noise
So you think the TT handles and sounds better than the R8???Nothing to do with not being able to afford an R8, just love the style, handling and the noise
These are subjective things but that would I suspect put you in a very small minority.
There are other reasons why you would perhaps go for a TT instead but they are mainly related to costs.
R8 is known for handling, on launch most reviews put it above or on a par with 997 whuch is generally considere to be the best drivers car in its class. Tt faced criticism mainly for its classic safe dull understeer.
R8 v8 na vs tt turbo for sound... Seriously? One prod of the gas at idle, rev it to 7000, makes the tt sound like a dyson.
